In our society, we need a constant stimulus. The need to be ‘on’. There is a feeling that if we are not ‘on’ and connected, we miss things. We check our social media feed continuously. We need to shut ourselves out by wearing large headphones to listen to music, podcasts or audiobooks.
Disconnected | connected is my observation of this phenomenon. Our society needs to stimulation or an ‘out’ to shut yourself out from your surroundings’ stresses.
