As street photographers, we make images first and foremost for ourselves because we love the experience of discovery and interaction. And because we love to walk.
But we also like to show our most appreciated work to others.
Two series exposition
I am exhibiting two series at Expoost in Hoorn in the Netherlands.
Structures
We built our society around repeating structures. Sometimes clearly visible and but often less obvious. A skyscraper in New York, Bales of fabric in an abandoned warehouse in Benningbroek, The Netherlands, Frozen plains on the beaches of Callantsoog and profiles in a factory in Zwaag, The Netherlands. They come together in the series Structures.
Winter silhouettes
In the middle of the corona lockdown and the freezing cold of 2021, the dutch literally found their freedom on the ice. You can almost feel the cold in the contrasting light and space on the Hoornse hop in the series Winter silhouettes.
The group exposition at Expoost in Hoorn in the Netherlands is open from 22 October 2021 until 21 December 2021. On Wednesday until Sunday from 13:00 to 17:00.
